PHG Meeting Info

NOTICE: Meetings will be held both in-person and on Zoom until further notice. Zoom links are provided in the PHG Calendar where Zoom participation is available.

PHG meets on the second Thursday of every month during September - June at the Multnomah Art Center.

Morning Meetings 10am - noon, 9:30am social
Evening Meetings 7pm - 9pm, 6:30 social

Meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings generally follow the same agenda:

  1. Call to Order – Meeting started at 7:03 pm
  2. Roll Call: Lynne Fitzsimmons, Sue Walsh, Linda Edquist, Robin Korybski, Dan Steves, Maggie Patterson, Sylvia Emard, Sarah McCully-Posner, Jane Wilson, Sharon Carsten
  3. WEGO (Sue Walsh)
    • We’ll use the WEGO grant for the screen of the Interlacements Movie, in March 2022  Third try.  Location not yet determined; could be a movie theater or the MAC.  If we can’t use the grant by then, we’ll ask WEGO for an extension
    • The next WEGO meeting is in November.  Please let Sue W know if we have anything.  Membership numbers for WEGO are 112 members, 21 lifetime members.
  4. MAC Rentals
    • Jane asked how far ahead we have to/can reserve the auditorium for the 2022 Fall Sale/Weftovers sale.
    • Sarah will reserve it now for Veterans Day weekend.
    • There was also a request to reserve the auditorium for March 2022 (Interlacements movie).  We’d also need the MAC’s IT Support

  6. Other Business
    • Jane – GOTG is starting up; meeting Oct 4.  She’d like to get the vendor application out sooner than last year, as it takes time to take pictures.  For publicity, GOTG is currently planning on postcards, and maybe bookmarks.
    • Art in the Pearl Outreach – it went pretty well.  Monday was busy; there was a lot of turnout.  PHG has been invited back for next year.
