Here’s news from the Band Weaving Study Group.
- Meeting March 23 2024by Lynne FitzsimmonsThere was a massive show and tell session. Elise spun and dyed (with natural dyes!) her yarn, and is in the process of weaving with a band heddle she carved herself. Sue brought in her Seidel tape loom. We all brought our band weaving libraries, so we could see what everyone uses as a resource. Dixon’s Inkle Weaving book was popular. Kay Inglin demonstrated a variety of inkle weaving techniques on 3 different inkle looms, pebble weave and others.
