NOTICE: Meetings will be held both in-person and on Zoom until further notice. Zoom links are provided in the PHG Calendar where Zoom participation is available.

PHG meets on the second Thursday of every month during September - June at the Multnomah Art Center.

Morning Meetings 10am - noon, 9:30am social
Evening Meetings 7pm - 9pm, 6:30 social

Meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings generally follow the same agenda:

HGA is thrilled to offer activities and events for seven days devoted to celebrating spinning and weaving. Our programming will educate, inspire, and support the fiber art community. Registration is all inclusive and includes access to all 7-days of programming including:    

Fashion Show sponsored by John C. Campbell Folk School John%20C%20Campbell%20(2).jpg  In this fun and supportive online environment, fiber enthusiasts, whether beginner or advanced, will model and share their inspirational garments, wearable art, accessories for the home, and functional work in our informal fashion show. Panel DiscussionsCovering topics that range from marketing yourself as an artist to artist residencies to HGA programs and more, these discussions aim to provide insight and awareness on the topics covered. Propose a Panel.
Studio Tours7 Artists will take attendees on a virtual walk through their workspace and discuss the design of their studio and how it inspires their creations. Attendees can ask questions and will hopefully take home some ideas for their own creative work space
Thread TalksCreative makers will share their fiber art ideas, projects, and experiences in under 15 minutes. Attendees will be inspired, surprised and delighted by their stories. Marketplace LIVEListen in and ask questions of our Vendors as they showcase their latest products, highlight their sales, and give you insights into their business. Register to be a Presenter
Virtual Exhibit HallOur virtual exhibit hall is designed for attendees to be able to chat and interact live and in real time over video with our participating vendors. Shop products, ask questions, and even set up one-on-one appointments to learn more about their products. Register to be a Vendor
Networking OpportunitiesBuild your fiber art community through the many networking opportunities Spinning & Weaving Week provides. Interact with attendees, presenters, and vendors in chat rooms, by video and by appointment. Discover new friends with shared fiber art interests.

Registration is all-inclusive and gives you access to all 7-days of programming. Watch live or at your convenience. All sessions will be recorded and available on-demand to registered attendees for 90 days following Spinning & Weaving Week.
