The Weftover sale is a fun event that helps raise money for the guild, and helps you manage your stash.
Here’s where we’ll need help:
- Set up. This role includes moving and arranging tables; moving boxes of yarn, books, weaving equipment from the closet to the sale room; sorting and displaying yarn by fiber type.
- Sale-Day Support. Volunteers will tidy up tables of yarn and books; set out same day donations; move items stored under tables onto the tables so they are better viewed by shoppers; keep aisles clear from tripping hazards.
- Take down. This role helps re-box unsold items that will be donated. Items that PHG will keep are also re-boxed and returned to the PHG closet. Tables taken down and floor cleared.
- SCRAP Donation Driver. Volunteer will contact SCRAP before sale day to arrange a donation appointment (Wednesdays or Fridays) and transport unsold items after the event to SCRAP in their car at time of their choosing.
