Sewing with Handwovens

Meeting April 27, 2024 at 1pm

The study group was held at Linda Edquist’s home. Attended by Christina Brown, Denise Wild. Lynn Young and Christina Bergmann. It was hoped that the members would bring some pattern ideas they were working on and might need some advice, inspiration or fitting help. Lynn had a vest that needed some fitting advice on the muslin she had created. Christina Bergmann was also creating a pieced vest with a muslin pattern that we all discussed some ideas with her.

More sharing of concepts and designs. Christina Brown brought some of her inspiring work for a show and tell, thank you! She and Christina Bergmann belong are members of the Columbia Fiber Arts Guild and in the subgroup Creative Wearables. Could be another group to work with in the future.

Inspiring meeting! The next meeting will be on Sunday June 9 at 1pm at Christina Brown’s home. The address will be sent out closer to the date. Any questions contact Linda Edquist edquistls@gmail,com.
