Demonstrations
Lynne demonstrated Baltic Pickup on a Sunna style band heddle. There was a sidebar into using a 3D printer to create the heddle.
Constance shared her hardware store components tablet weaving loom, and also how she came to a full understanding of what was happening. Her learning source was Collingwood, because of his detailed pictures. This lead to her understand of what the thread/card/threading is telling you, based on which color pops up top and away from you. There was also a discussion of the many tablet weaving notations, and how to reduce them to a common understanding. We all had a chance to try out the demo tablet weaving setup (very fat, garish threads, large cards).
