May 2022 PHG Mid-month Update

Troutdale Arts Fair – Help Needed This Weekend

PHG will be demonstrating at the Troutdale Arts Fair this weekend, Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22. Bring a project to work on or use one of our small looms warped up to demonstrate on or allow fairgoers to try their hand at weaving. We will have flyers for anyone interested in learning more about weaving and other fiber arts and resources in the community. You may want to check out the Fair to consider having your own sales booth next year.

If you have some free time come by and help us out at the PHG booth this Saturday or Sunday. Sign up online through the link below or contact Cooki Messmer at cookimessmer@comcast.net.

Portland Audubon 42nd annual Wild Arts Festival

Now in its 42nd year, the Wild Arts Festival celebrates the natural world in art and books. This is one of the premier regional art shows featuring work focused on nature in both medium and theme. All proceeds of the Wild Arts Festival benefit the programs of Portland Audubon.

The Wild Arts Festival will feature approximately 60 artists in a lively atmosphere, with an anticipated attendance of 5,000 people. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with and purchase the work of regional artists and authors. In addition, we will have our popular Book Fair and Silent Auction.
