PHG Meeting Info

NOTICE: Meetings will be held both in-person and on Zoom until further notice. Zoom links are provided in the PHG Calendar where Zoom participation is available.

PHG meets on the second Thursday of every month during September - June at the Multnomah Art Center.

Morning Meetings 10am - noon, 9:30am social
Evening Meetings 7pm - 9pm, 6:30 social

Meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings generally follow the same agenda:

Weaving Equipment:

  • Leclerc Tension Box and Spool Winder
    Leclerc tension box with thread counter and an electric spool winder.  Both of these items were purchased new, and neither have been used. $300.00. Vancouver, WA. Email Norman if interested.
  • 48” 4 Harness Tawaquiva Jack Loom
    Tawaquiva 4-harness jack loom with 48″ weaving width and a sectional warp beam.  Comes with 4 reeds in 6, 10, 20, and 24 dent.  Also includes bench and spool rack.  Must be disassembled to get it out of the home. $450.00. Vancouver, WA. Email Norman if interested.
  • Schacht Flip 25 inch Rigid Heddle loom
    Selling Schacht Flip 25 inch Rigid Heddle loom, stand, parts, variable reed & 6 extra reeds. The flip folds, has extra reeds (two each of three sizes) and is constructed to accommodate two heddles or one. Well cared for. Includes parts, two weaving books, instruction manual, and a bag that fits the loom (folded). Would total  $1200-1300 (plus shipping) if purchased new.   • 22” 4 Shaft Gilmore Loom
    Gilmore loom – 22” weaving width. 4 shafts/6 treadles. Made from maple, this loom is in good condition. Front and back beams fold in for compact storage. Downsizing, need to make room. $500.00. Tualatin, OR.  Email if interested.
  • 45” 8 Shaft Gilmore Loom
    45″ Gilmore floor loom. 8 shaft, 10 treadles, with sectional warp beam and multiple reeds.  Lightly used, in excellent condition. Estate sale prompts sale.   • 4 Harness Floor Loom

  • 26” 8 Shaft Gilmore Loom
    Gilmore floor loom, 8 shafts/harnesses, 10 treadles, true weaving width 26 inches, with bench included.  Accessories included: warping board, rug and stick shuttles, 2 boat shuttles with bobbins, weaving temple stretcher, assorted spools of warp thread and more.   • Ashford Inklette Loom
    Ashford Inklette Loom.  This is a great small Inkle Loom for small projects or travel.  Used only one time.  Purchased for card weaving but found it a little small when using more than 20 cards.  Includes shuttle and instructions.  See the Ashford web site for more details. $50.   • Majacraft Little Gem Spinning Wheel
    Majacraft Little Gem spinning wheel. 8 bobbins, Kate , Original silver travel bag. Two smaller drives? Cannot remember what these are called but allows you to spin at different ratios .
