Lynne Fitzsimmons

The International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park includes more than 10,000
individual rose bushes, representing more than 600 varieties. As the name implies, the garden is a testing ground for new varieties of roses.

Lynne loves roses. One of the first places she went when she moved to Portland was the International Rose Test Garden.
This design is taken from a fragment of an embroidery chart on Pinterest. It is woven in 8s satin on a 21 pattern shaft drawloom. The yarn is 20/2 mercerized cotton, sett at 56 epi.
