It was wonderful seeing so many turn out for the annual PHG meeting last night. Several of you came to me throughout the evening to offer praise and thanks for my time as president of the guild. As I said last night, it’s truly been my pleasure, and you all have offered me wonderful community and inspiration. Thank you for a wonderful two years.
Sadly, I must report that a member emailed me today to say that they tested positive for COVID this morning. If you’re like me you feel like we’re living in a post-pandemic world, and I don’t think much about it any more. But as we see COVID is still with us. I hope no one else contracts it, and for anyone who does encounter it in the days and weeks ahead that your cases are mild, and you suffer no long term ill effects.
I thank you all again for your support of the guild, and hope you have happy, healthy, productive summers. As always, I hope to see you at a meeting when we resume in the fall.
