Portland has a major river running past downtown, iconic drinking fountains, and decorative fountains. The City of Portland maintains 7 interactive fountains in which people can play, and 21 splash pads. The Willamette River is used by motor boats, canoes, kayaks, and dragon boats, plus cargo ships.
Blithe made this basket in a workshop taught by Elaine Twogood and Sheila Wrap using natural and dyed reed.
