Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in southeast Portland, established in 1950, has 9.5 acres of rhododendrons, azaleas, as well as other plants. It also features a lake, three waterfalls, and plenty of paths for strolling and admiring the beauty.

Wendy wove her scarf on a rigid heddle loom with a 10 dent reed, 108 warp ends (one skein), 9 ppi. The warp yarn is dyed by Fuzzy Peach Fibers (in Eugene area) and is 70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, and 10% cashmere. The weft is Freia Fine Handpaints 100% US merino fingering.
