PHG Meeting Info

NOTICE: Meetings will be held both in-person and on Zoom until further notice. Zoom links are provided in the PHG Calendar where Zoom participation is available.

PHG meets on the second Thursday of every month during September - June at the Multnomah Art Center.

Morning Meetings 10am - noon, 9:30am social
Evening Meetings 7pm - 9pm, 6:30 social

Meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings generally follow the same agenda:

Designing 4 the Future Study Group

Here’s news from the Designing 4 the Future Study Group.

  • 30 April 2024 Meeting

    Chapter 1 – Two Twills In our second meeting we met at Olivia’s house. To start we introduced ourselves to Carol who couldn’t make our first meeting. First we made sure everyone had their presets loaded into their programs and helped with other computer issues. Once that was all sorted we then worked through Chapter 1 together. We designed a 16 Shaft curve. At the end we set up our next meeting time. In the next meeting we will work on Chapter 2 – Blocks. Sarah, Greta, Olivia and Carol attended.
  • 26 March 2024: Introductory Meeting

    We meet every 4-6 weeks on a Monday at 11:00am. We met at my (Sarah’s) house to discuss plans for the study group, introduced ourselves to each other, and talked about our goals for the group. We discussed Photoshop Elements and the book. Organized dates for the next meeting. Sarah, Greta, Sharon, and Olivia attended.
